A Holistic Approach for Data-Driven Companies
For b.telligent, this repeated strong performance is more than just an award. It confirms the company’s ambition to support organizations with a holistic approach to unlocking the long-term value of their data, from strategy and architecture to implementation, operations, and the ongoing development of modern data platforms.
“This great result means so much to us because it is based on recommendations from people we work with every day, our clients and partners,” says Sebastian Amtage, Founder and Managing Director of b.telligent. “Especially in the data and AI space, projects can only succeed when trust, deep expertise, and a true understanding of the client’s business processes come together.”
Data Strategy as the Foundation for Sustainable AI Adoption
“Today, our clients are facing the challenge of meaningfully connecting data strategy, data usage, and AI,” says Kai Kalchthaler, Managing Director of b.telligent. “Even the best technologies add little value if they are not embedded in a clear strategic direction. This is exactly where we come in: we help companies build their data landscape holistically and create the foundation for sustainable value creation through data.”
There is also a growing focus on the practical implementation of AI potential. Even though most companies have long recognized the benefits and opportunities, they often still lack a clear roadmap, from initial experiments through to measurable business results.
Against this backdrop, b.telligent is deliberately building on its latest spin-off: Kambria. The brand supports mid-sized companies in particular in integrating artificial intelligence into their organizations in a structured and secure way, starting with the provision of suitable tools, continuing with enabling employees, and extending all the way to the development of specific use cases. The goal is to make AI effective not only from a technological perspective, but also at the organizational level.
“AI transformation is not purely a technology project,” explains Sebastian Amtage. “It only works when strategy, data, processes, and people are brought together in a smart way. This is exactly the challenge we are addressing with clear intent, while helping our clients do the same.”
Team Performance Is the Foundation of Success
b.telligent’s strong performance in this year’s brand eins ranking is also proof of, and recognition for, a strong team effort.
“A great result like this does not happen overnight,” says Klaus Blaschek, also Founder and Managing Director of b.telligent. “It is the result of a passionate, well-coordinated team of data professionals who work every single day with great diligence and expertise to bring the best solutions to our clients. And we are truly very proud of that.”
Methodology
In 2026, brand eins and Statista once again used a proven two-stage approach to make the consulting market in Germany more transparent across 17 industries and 21 functional areas. In the first step, 14,248 partners, principals, and project managers from consulting firms were identified and invited to take part in an online expert survey. The sample was supplemented by additional qualified contacts from large consulting firms as well as through a registration form. A total of 2,191 people took part and submitted recommendations for consultancies in the respective industries and functional areas. Self-recommendations were excluded.
In the second step, 1,100 senior professionals were surveyed via an online panel, along with an additional 597 executives from DAX, MDAX, SDAX, and TecDAX companies. They evaluated the recommended consultancies in the areas in which they had worked with them over the past four years. Based on the results of both surveys, and with slight weighting given to the previous year’s results, the list of “Germany’s Best Consultancies 2026” by brand eins and Statista was compiled.
