Lünendonk® Study 2025 Confirms Strong Position in a Rapidly Growing Market
Munich, December 3, 2025 – According to the Lünendonk® Study 2025/2026 “The Market for Data&AI Services in Germany”, b.telligent is once again among the top three specialists in the category of Data and AI portfolio breadth and depth. The current study also shows that the effective use of data and the continued rise in the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) are driving major transformations within companies. These changes often require extensive expertise and can typically only be tackled with the support of end-to-end consultancies and IT service providers such as b.telligent.
From Automation and AI Deployment to Governance
The top three findings from the study show, first, that the key lever for companies seeking to secure and expand their market position lies in optimizing their workflows. According to respondents, upcoming investments will primarily focus on fully automating repetitive tasks (84%) and leveraging Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) (68%). Second, many companies struggle with implementing modern AI solutions due to a lack of internal expertise required to deploy and further develop these technologies effectively. Third, companies often face significant challenges in integrating data and AI solutions across the organization — spanning data platforms, cloud infrastructure, governance, and corporate culture — challenges that are difficult to manage with internal resources alone.
Holistic Approach and Fast Implementation
In response, companies are increasingly relying on end-to-end providers such as b.telligent. With extensive consulting expertise across Data, Analytics, and AI, b.telligent supports customers along their entire Data Value Chain — from strategy and architecture to data platforms, implementation, and operations. This allows customers to quickly access highly skilled specialists and execute necessary transformations within a clear time and cost framework. At the same time, internal client teams receive dedicated upskilling and enablement. With its newly established brand “Kambria,” b.telligent has also launched an offering that combines a smart AI platform for enterprises with targeted AI training and education programs. This gives companies full control over their AI usage while optimizing workflows and capabilities.
Data Quality and Strategy Remain Essential Foundations for AI-Driven Innovation
Sebastian Amtage, Founder and Managing Director of b.telligent, emphasizes: “Without a solid data foundation and a strategic approach to data management, even the most ambitious transformation initiatives fall flat.” According to the study, 96% of respondents intend to prioritize high data quality, strong governance, and support from top management. Additionally, they plan to invest in powerful data platforms, AI applications, and innovative data infrastructures.
Amtage adds: “Only companies that align their data foundation, technology stack, organizational structures, and culture will be future-ready and resilient. This is not simply a technological shift — it requires a thoughtful strategy and the right interplay between human strengths and machine efficiency.” The fact that only 2% of surveyed companies have strategically anchored AI to scale it across the organization highlights the urgency. This is precisely where consultancies like b.telligent — with more than 20 years of experience and a comprehensive service portfolio — can be vital strategic partners.
Consistent Client Enablement Through Expert Talent
Beyond strategy and technology, the study also highlights the growing importance of people. The shortage of Data and AI experts will continue to intensify in the coming years. Here, b.telligent stands out from the trend: the consultancy consistently attracts top talent and retains them long-term. Their expertise flows directly into client teams, ensuring targeted and sustainable enablement.
Klaus Blaschek, also Founder and Managing Director of b.telligent, proudly states: “Our outstanding performance is first and foremost a success of our team. Our growth, our innovative strength, and our market position would not be possible without the dedication, passion, and professionalism of our colleagues. Their know-how and enthusiasm for Data & AI are what make b.telligent the strong and trusted partner our clients rely on.”

Only Two Percent of Companies Have Strategically Anchored AI
Only 2% of surveyed companies have strategically embedded AI to scale it enterprise-wide. A third (35%) is currently pushing for broader use across multiple business units. Half (48%) have already moved initial AI applications with clear use cases into productive operation. However, 15% remain in the pilot phase, working with AI only in isolated processes without productive deployment. By industry comparison, the banking sector (57%), energy sector (50%), and telecommunications sector (50%) show the highest AI maturity—at least half use AI broadly across several business units, and in some cases even enterprise-wide (energy: 5%, telecommunications: 7%).
