Award ceremony again held virtually
Instead of the usual gala dinner, this year's awards ceremony was held as a digital livestream, as in the previous year. "When we were planning this event, we weren't quite sure whether it would be safe to celebrate in the usual way," says presenter Margit Lieverz. "So, a few weeks before the live award ceremony, we sent the award winners a mysterious package with instructions not to open it until the event was live." As well as some sparkling wine and nibbles to help celebrate the award, the package contained the award certificate itself, which revealed the place that the company had been awarded. b.telligent was entered in the Big Data Consulting category and was delighted to learn that it had picked up the silver award.
"This is the second time in a row that b.telligent has won an insider award. And we are over the moon!" said Sebastian Amtage, founder and CEO of b.telligent, who opened the award package on behalf of all his colleagues. "The shortlisting by the expert jury and selection by the readers' votes means a lot to us. It shows that b.intelligent is not only held in high regard by its customers and partners, but also by this important and influential group of independent IT professionals."
