Munich, 2nd November 2022 – Every year, the auditing and consulting firm EY honours outstanding entrepreneurship, innovative drive and personal commitment with an "Entrepreneur Of The Year" award. Among the finalists in this year's category of family business are b.telligent founders and managing directors Sebastian Amtage and Klaus Blaschek.

How do you shape the new economic environment? And who drives the German economy with their visions, ambitions and commitment? These and many other questions are the focus of the "EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022" award. For the 26th time already, EY honours the best entrepreneurs of owner-managed companies worldwide with one of the most prestigious awards for entrepreneurial excellence. Challenges facing the economy and society as a whole are constantly developing: Climate change, geopolitical crises, the still noticeable effects of the pandemic, as well as disruptive technical innovations and the resultant convergence of entire sectors require unprecedented flexibility in the thoughts and actions of all those involved. For this reason, evaluation criteria such as sustainability of business models, innovation, transformation, leadership and social responsibility are particularly at the focus during selection of the award winners by an independent jury of renowned experts.

b.telligent founders: Finalists for "Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022"

Sebastian Amtage and Klaus Blaschek are among the finalists in the 4 categories comprising "family business", "innovation", "sustainability" and "new companies". In mid-October, they were delighted to receive their finalist awards, presented by Markus Fischer (partner, M&A  advisor at EY) and Steffen Schwesig (regional manager at LGT Bank). "This award is a great honour for both of us," said Sebastian Amtage at the ceremony. "As entrepreneurs, our responsibility now, more than ever, reaches far beyond 'simple' corporate management. With its award, EY takes precisely these challenges into account. This award therefore means a lot to us," says Amtage. Klaus Blaschek, who founded b.telligent together with Amtage in 2004, adds: "The award not only acknowledges our actions, but also those of the entire b.telligent staff. We have an incredibly strong team at our side, without whom this success would not have been possible. We all won the award together."
