Protection of your personal data (henceforth: "data" in short) is a major concern for us. Provided next is information on which data are collected during your visit to our website, and how they are processed by us. 3. Collection and utilization of your data

Your data's scope, type of collection and utilization vary according to whether you visit our website only to fetch information, or whether you make use of our website's offers which require further data about you, e.g. when arranging an appointment or ordering a ticket for a training session:

a. Use for informative purposes

During use of our website purely for informative purposes, you never need to specify any personal data.

In this case, we just collect and utilize those data of yours which are sent automatically to us by your Internet browser, such as:

  • Date and time of invoking our web pages
  • Your browser type
  • Your browser settings
  • Your operating system
  • The page last visited by you
  • The transferred amount of data and access status (file transferred, file not found etc.)
  • Your IP address

During visits for informative purposes, these data are processed by us exclusively in a non-personal form. This is done to actually allow the use of web pages accessed by you, and to monitor whether our web pages are displayed to you optimally. Processing takes place on the legal basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 f) GDPR and in our interest to display the website to you reliably and with as little disruption as possible.

We store the IP address as well as the remaining data accumulated during use for informative purposes for a period of 4 weeks; no personal evaluation is performed, only statistical analysis of website usage as described further below in this data privacy policy.

b. Arranging an appointment

If you intend to contact us via our form for making an appointment, we collect the following data from you:

  • First name and surname
  • E-mail address
  • Company (optional)
  • Position (optional)
  • Phone (optional)
  • Preferred means of establishing contact (e-mail / phone)
  • Your message

We use these data to respond to your requests by e-mail and, if necessary, by phone. Based on your specifications, we can also adapt our responses to you personally and provide you with information specific to your company and your position.

If your inquiry relates to an existing contractual relationship between us or you are interested in concluding a contract, data processing is carried out on the legal basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 b) GDPR (contract management).

Otherwise, data processing is performed on the legal basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 f) GDPR (balancing of interests) and in our interest in being able to answer your request with the information relevant to you.

Data collected via the contact form and via communications pertaining to your requests are stored by us for 10 years.

c. Booking a training event via Eventbrite

Our website provides information about training events offered by us. We also offer you the possibility of booking our events via the Eventbrite platform. The Eventbrite platform is operated by Eventbrite, Inc. (155 5th Street, Floor 7, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA; "Eventbrite".

Our website uses a plug-in by Eventbrite to facilitate event booking for you. In the section for ordering tickets, you can specify the desired date after selecting an event. If you click on "Order now", we send this information to Eventbrite and you are redirected to their external website for further handling of the order.

Via its plug-in, Eventbrite uses cookies which are text files stored on your terminal device to enable analysis of your use of the website. These cookies are set on your terminal device by Eventbrite if you select one of our events by clicking on "Info & registration". Eventbrite is thereby also notified that you have invoked our event page, and receives the data according to Item 3 a) of this statement.

After you have completed your ordering process, we receive the information about your order and the following data about you from Eventbrite: Name, company, address, e-mail address, telephone number, billing information.

We process these data subsequently for the purpose of fulfilling the contractual relationship with you regarding event participation.

Processing of your data for preparation and execution of contracts regarding event participation takes place on the legal basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 S. 1 b) GDPR.

Data processing via the Eventbrite plug-in integrated into our website furthermore takes place on the legal basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 S.1 f) GDPR (balancing of interests) and in our interest in facilitating event bookings for you.

Data of yours collected through the use of Eventbrite are deleted after 10 years.

d. Our career portal

Via our website's career portal, you can apply for job vacancies at b.telligent. Here we make use of a service from softgarden e-recruiting GmbH (Tauentzienstraße 14, 10789 Berlin; "softgarden").

Our career pages employ a plug-in from softgarden to facilitate the application process for you. When a web page displaying a job vacancy is invoked, softgarden is notified by the integrated plug-in that you are viewing that page, and also receives data as described in Item 3 a) of this statement.

e) Newsletter

With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter which updates you about our interesting offers. The advertised goods and services are mentioned in the declaration of consent.

As part of subscription to our newsletter, we use a double opt-in procedure: After you register, we send you an e-mail to the specified address; in this mail, we ask you to confirm that you want to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within 6 months, your information will be automatically deleted. In addition, we store your assigned IP addresses, as well as the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, investigate potential misuse of your personal data.

Mandatory information for dispatch of the newsletter includes your e-mail address, first name, last name and title. [This information is used to personally address you.] After your confirmation, we will store your information for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis for this is Article 6 Para 1 S. 1 Item a) GDPR.

You can revoke your consent to dispatch and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can declare revocation by clicking on the link provided in every e-mailed newsletter, via e-mail to [marketing@btelligent.com] or via a message to the contact details provided in the site notice.

Please note that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter. For such evaluation, the sent e-mails contain tracking pixels representing single-pixel image files stored at our website. As part of evaluation, we associate the data mentioned in paragraph 3 and the tracking pixels with your e-mail address and an individual ID. With the data obtained in this manner, we create a user profile to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. In this process, we register the time at which you read our newsletter, as well as the links which you click in it,  and use this to infer your personal interests. We associate these data with actions performed by you at our website.

You can prevent this tracking at any time by disabling the display of images in your e-mail program by default. In this case, the newsletter is not fully displayed, and you might not be able to use all functions. If you choose to display the images manually, the tracking mentioned above takes place.

[__hstc] function: This cookie is part of the HubSpot service and serves as the main cookie for visitor registration. It contains: Domain, user token, first time stamp (of first visit), last time stamp (of last visit), current time stamp (of current visit) and session number (incremented on each subsequent session); it is stored for two years. [__hssrc] function: This cookie is part of the HubSpot service. It is set every time HubSpot changes the session cookie. It contains a value of "1" and is used to determine whether the user has restarted their browser. If this cookie is absent at the time of cookie management, HubSpot assumes that the session is a new one. The cookie is stored until the end of the session. This cookie is a first-party cookie controlled from our website.

[__hssc] ] function: This cookie is part of the HubSpot service and is used to record sessions. The cookie makes it possible to determine whether the session number and time stamp in the __hstc cookie need to be increased. It contains: Domain, number of page views (the view count is incremented each time a page is viewed in a session) and the time stamp for session start. The cookie is saved for 30 minutes. [cfduid] function: This cookie is used by the Cloudflare content delivery network employed by HubSpot to place its service. By means of this cookie, Cloudflare identifies individual users who use a shared IP address in order to set and apply individual security restrictions for such users. It contains an individual ID number and is stored for 1 year. This cookie is a third-party cookie controlled from the service provider Hubspot.

b. Disabling cookies

You have the right to require us to immediately delete your personal data, insofar as one of the reasons detailed in Article 17 GDPR applies, for example, if data are no longer needed for the intended purposes (right to deletion).

You have the right to require us to restrict processing if one of the prerequisites mentioned in Article 18 GDPR is given, for example, if you have raised an objection against processing, for the duration of examination by us.
