BI Conference becomes World of Data

On its 15th anniversary, b.telligent will reinvent their BI Conference: World of Data is to take place on May 14th, 2020 at the Paulaner Nockherberg in Munich.

Munich, 25/09/19 – For the fourth time already, b.telligent will hold their BI Conference in Munich on Thursday, May 14th, 2020 – this time under a new brand: World of Data invites executives, managers and experts to the Paulaner Nockherberg to exchange about big data, business intelligence, IoT & cloud, data science, AI & data visualization as well as customer intelligence. In addition to more than 30 stimulating state of the art lectures, break talks and practical workshops, another innovation awaits visitors this year:Individual vendors will show their solutions and use cases in product demos.Tickets are now available at an early-bird price.

"Over the last two years, the diversity of topics has widened dramatically," noted b.telligent founder and managing director Sebastian Amtage at the BI Conference 2018. "We happen to be overtaking ourselves here." In the almost two years which have passed since, the BI world from then has continued to turn. Whereas only a few years ago, BI, AI and IoT still sounded like topics from the distant future, for many companies, data-driven business models today are an integral part of enterprise strategy. Every sector and nearly every corporate division is confronted during everyday business by large amounts of data and the need to use these intelligently. The age of "pure" BI is way behind us – we now live in the World of Data. This development and b.telligent’s 15th anniversary serve as an occasion for the company to take that world of data into account by realigning the BI Conference.

Welcome to the World of Data!

About 650 participants are expected at the Paulaner Nockherberg, including experts from marketing, IT and controlling as well as renowned industry luminaries. "The BI Conference – now World of Data – shows us time and again: As a consultancy, we have access to a tremendously large network," declares Klaus Blaschek, founder and managing director of b.telligent. "About 50 of our partners are to present themselves and their solutions at our exhibition." Also attending will be customers – last year's including ProSieben, Sat1, Payback and Adidas – who will share their knowledge of big data, IoT & cloud, customer intelligence, data visualization as well as data science & AI in lectures and break talks. "World of Data takes the BI Conference to a new level: Even more practice-oriented, visionary and networked. We talk to experts about current challenges and discuss topics which shape the future of the industry," says Sebastian Amtage, summing up the relaunch of the event. The event’s two keynotes will therefore also comprise a special highlight – participants here in recent years have not only included major industry players such as IBM and Microsoft, but even visionaries such as digitalization blogger and book author Sascha Lobo.
