b.telligent celebrates its premiere at the Spark Summit Europe 2016

b.telligent on tour in Europe’s capital – for the first time, b.telligent will take part in the Spark Summit Europe 2016 in Brussels. The three-day conference is all about Apache Spark, the framework for cluster computing which was developed in the course of a research project at the AMPLab University of California. Apache Spark has since become established as recognized big data technology and, according to a few experts, could also evolve into a leading new big data technology alongside Hadoop. Thus, be there from 25 to 27 October, when 1,200+ analysts, scientists and users meet at the three-day summit in order to discuss the latest trends, develop a deeper understanding of the up-and-coming technology and engage in networking. The setting for the event is the Square in the center of Brussels. The building constructed for the world exhibition 1958 is thus the ideal location for an innovative and exciting event.

25.10.2016 – The Spark Training Day

The first day of the summit is all about training with Apache Spark. Various sessions may be attended. From “Apache Spark Essentials” to “Data Science with Apache Spark” and “Exploring Wikipedia with Apache Spark”, a suitable event is available for every interest group.

26.10.2016 – The Developer Day

On the developer day, the participants may choose from a diverse topic range regarding the development & further development of Apache Spark. By means of four different topic tracks on the topics data science, developer, spark ecosystem and research, Spark experts will explain the latest possibilities and the most important functions of the big data technology.

27.10.2016 – The Enterprise Day

On the last day of the summit, the focus of the event is on businesses. In his presentation “Becoming an Agile Enterprise with a Just in Time Data Platform”, Ali Ghodsi, Professor at the UC Berkeley in California, will demonstrate the chances and possibilities which result from the successful use of big data technologies in businesses. Supported by an informative and diverse presentation program, all visitors of the summit may inform themselves about the benefits of using Spark in businesses in the best possible way and according to their personal interests on the last day, as well.
