b.telligent's first showing at EHI Technology Days

b.telligent is celebrating a first: this year the consultancy firm will be exhibiting for the first time at the EHI Technology Days in Düsseldorf on 6 and 7 November 2018. Our consultants Harald Mösel, principal consultant customer intelligence, and Laurentius Malter, management consultant, will be attending to gain an overview of the latest developments in the retail technology world.

The EHI is an academic institute that specializes in researching issues that affect the future of the retail sector. It also organizes conferences and trade fairs such as EuroCIS, which b.telligent attended earlier this year.

Specialist presentations on AI and digitalization

EHI Technology Days focus on a wide range of topics – such as how to make sure your company's digital transformation succeeds, and the consequences of new technologies and their impact on retailers' IT strategies. This year's program will also feature specialist presentations. Experts giving talks on the subject of AI include Prof. Michael Feindt from KIT, who will discuss why automated decision-making will revolutionize future business processes, and Sonja Moosburger from MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group, who will examine the topic of "Robotics in retail - from digital receptionist to entertainer". The first day will conclude with an evening event sponsored by GK Software: IT Night in the Altes Kesselhaus.
The second day will also feature talks on today's trending topics. For example, "The role of data science in the optimization of the supply chain", by Cordula Bauer from Rewe Digital GmbH and Robin Senge from inovex GmbH, offers an insight into using modern data science techniques for supply chain optimization. Ulrich Schäfer from GS1 German also deals with digitalization in his talk: "Data – the lubricant of digitalization". He will explain why both the availability and the quality of the master data play such a decisive role.

Industry get-together with partners, exhibitors and colleagues

As well as the lectures on the latest topics, well known exhibitors and partners, such as Microsoft, Panasonic, Philips, pyramid, Toshiba and many others, will be on hand to meet visitors.
