About emnos

At emnos, we are a diverse team of around 20 international employees across Europe (Germany, Portugal, France, Poland) who share a deep passion and expertise in retail, data analysis and technology. We act at the interface between retailers and brands and help both parties take better category management decisions by turning data into insights and actions.

Your mission at emnos

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager in charge of developing the business together with our clients. You will be reporting to the Account Director. As Senior Account Manager for one of our biggest clients in food & beverage retail, you will be responsible for the retailer directly as well as for his supplier partners:

Your personal mission at emnos will be to ÔÇťCultivate a strong relationship between the retailer and its suppliers and drive the conversion of supplier prospects into long-term partners".

  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationship with the main existing clients
  • Support our retailer in selling their data to their suppliers: developing services & tailored offerings, identifying priority targets, ensuring partnership renewals
  • Enable Category Managers and Marketing Experts to identify the best fitting KPIÔÇÖs in order to track performance and support their daily commercial decisions
  • Understand and solve the problems encountered by clients, in terms of product and services offered
  • Participate in the definition of emnos' commercial strategy for the client
  • Act as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the main commercial negotiations in close collaboration with the Account Director

Requirements & Skills

  • You already have at least 4 years of experience in Sales of Services or Consulting to retail/FMCG in a service/consulting/tech firm, or Category Manager position in the retail sector
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with counterparts, establishing trust and becoming a true strategic partner
  • Analytical mindset
  • Marketing knowledge e.g. brand life cycle, promotions, assortment etc.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Consultative approach to identify needs and sell appropriate solutions
  • BachelorÔÇÖs degree in business administration, management, or a related field
  • Fluent in English and Polish (mandatory)
