IKOM 2016 – The Career Fair in Munich

From 20 to 23 June 2016, the career fair IKOM takes place in Munich for the 28th time. The four-day career forum takes place in the premises of the faculty `mechanical engineering´ of the Technical University of Munich at the Garching site. All students and businesses are cordially invited to exchange ideas regarding career opportunities and career entry opportunities during the four days. The event is organized by approximately 100 students of the Technical University of Munich on a voluntary basis and is the largest and best-known recruiting event in Southern Germany with 12,000+ visitors. The fair is primarily intended for interested parties of the fields machine engineering, industrial engineering, computer science and electrical engineering, but, of course, anyone else is also welcome. The variety regarding fields and industries must be particularly emphasized; with 300+ participating businesses, there will surely be something interesting for each visitor.

On IKOM 2016

The four-day career forum in Munich offers enough space and time for all students and businesses to exchange ideas regarding careers in detail and to make personal contacts. Many well-known businesses will be onsite in order to participate in panel discussions and answer the audience's questions in the IKOM arena. In addition, exclusive presentations by guest speakers of well-known businesses will round off the fair. In addition to the actual job fair, IKOM offers the students further free services.  These include i.a. application portfolio checks, professional application photos, the TUM job fair, shuttle buses, special application trainings with various cooperating businesses prior to the event - because a good impression is decisive.
