At emnos, we are a team of 10 international employees across Europe, who share a deep passion and expertise in retail, data analysis and technology. We help retailers take category management decisions by turning their data into insights.
We are the newest member of the b.telligent group, which allows us to offer the best solutions through its wide network of companies specialized in analytics and data management.
Among our partners, we collaborate with major retailers in Europe, e.g. within the sports or food industry, and their supplier partners.
Your mission @emnos:
- You lead the design and development of our portal for our analytics platform
- In coordination with the stakeholders and the Head of Data Management, you prioritize the features and develop professional requirements and technical specifications
- You grow and lead a team of developers in an agile and people centric way
- You create a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment and promote innovative ideas in the team
- You develop innovative and market-oriented solutions and promptly deliver them to our customers
- You define, plan, budget and manage milestones for the delivery of portal releases
- You oversee code reviews of produced software to ensure code quality
- Improving both the efficiency and the effectiveness of the software development function
- You share your knowledge and experience with your team, develop these further and define standards for the product development process
- Overall responsibility for quality assurance
- You will have Co-responsibility for the strategic development of the analytics platform
Your qualifications:
- Experience in the application of agile methods in the field of software development (cloud and container technologies)
- Hands-on mentality, strong communication skills and self-confident personality
- Deep understanding/hands on of Google Cloud Platform fundamentals, containerisation, serverless and cloud function frameworks
- Hands on experience in CI/CD framework
- Hands on experience in spring framework
- Knowledge in Hadoop is plus
- Passion for UX, product architecture as well as analytics
- Very good knowledge of programming language Java and of databases
- Very good knowledge of modern tech stacks for UI development
- Knowledge of Jira and/or Confluence
- Fluent English, both in written and spoken form
