Initial Situation and Challenge
Synabi Business Solutions GmbH supports clients in the financial sector with D-QUANTUM, a software solution for data governance. By combining automated import, manual data entry, and intuitive visualization of metadata, D-QUANTUM provides the foundation for comprehensive data governance activities. The platform is used in metadata and data governance projects, as well as for implementing regulatory requirements such as BCBS 239 or MaRisk. The goal of the project with b.telligent was to optimize D-QUANTUM for integration into existing system architectures and to offer it as a service within the AWS cloud.
b.telligent’s Approach
In close collaboration with b.telligent, Synabi Business Solutions GmbH implemented several DevOps-driven measures to deploy the D-QUANTUM product portfolio on AWS infrastructure:
- Designing the AWS architecture
- Automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code
- Automating installation of D-QUANTUM components
- Implementing logging and monitoring
