How Do Data, Events And – Increasingly – AI Agents Flow Through the Fabric Platform?

This workshop provides a structured end-to-end introduction to the capabilities of Microsoft Fabric for data engineering and modern lakehouse scenarios. Using a practical scenario, participants will see how data from different sources can be integrated, organized within a medallion architecture, and processed using a range of Fabric components. The workshop focuses on data integration with Fabric Data Factory and Mirroring, as well as data transformation using Data Flow Gen2 and Spark Notebooks. In addition, it demonstrates how prepared data can be made accessible for business-related questions using Data Agents.

The workshop is aimed at data professionals, data engineers, data architects, and IT decision-makers who want to gain a practical first overview of how Microsoft Fabric can serve as a central platform for integrating and processing data from heterogeneous environments. The content is delivered through live demonstrations, conceptual explanations, and selected practical exercises. Participants will gain insights into different approaches to data integration and transformation, as well as into the possibilities for making data available across its entire lifecycle.

Instructions, sample scripts, and live support will be provided throughout the workshop. The demonstrated scenarios can be followed in a prepared Fabric environment.
