Databricks Dashboard in a Day is a full-day, hands-on workshop for analysts who want to explore the capabilities of modern data platforms. An instructor leads you through a fictitious case study in which you take responsibility for the analytics department.

In a mix of break-out sessions and guided hands-on exercises, you cover the full data platform lifecycle: exploring governed data with Unity Catalog and Genie, building a semantic layer with Metric Views, crafting AI/BI Dashboards and setting up AI/BI Genie Spaces for conversational analytics.

By the end of the day, you understand the benefits of placing the semantic layer within Databricks, feel confident creating AI/BI Dashboards and Genie Spaces for self-service analytics, and have strengthened your data literacy skills.

Prerequisites

• Foundational SQL knowledge or high curiosity
• Full-day availability without other meetings
