World of Data: Event postponed until 2021

In view of the current pandemic situation, b.telligent has decided to reschedule the event originally planned for 14 May.

Munich, 26. March 2020 –  The fourth b.telligent event devoted to BI, analytics, artificial intelligence, and more was scheduled to take place on May 14. Under its new name "World of Data", it was expected to offer even more real-world insights into the world of data. In view of the current situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the consulting firm for data and analytics has now decided to postpone the event until next year.

"It was a difficult decision, but one that had to be made responsibly," say b.telligent founders and managing directors Sebastian Amtage and Klaus Blaschek, explaining their reasons for rescheduling the World of Data. "Current developments make it impossible for us to stage the event as planned." Although it is being postponed, b.telligent emphasizes that the event is not being canceled. "The response from speakers, customers, partners and participants has shown us that the World of Data concept genuinely addresses the needs of the sector. Canceling the event is therefore not an option for us," says Amtage. Instead, the event will be postponed until next year.

New date still to be announced

The exact date of the World of Data 2021 is not yet known. Discussions are currently underway with speakers, partners and those responsible for the venue. "Our aim is to keep the current format of the event but to postpone it until next year," said Blaschek. "We are therefore trying to agree a date with our stakeholders that would allow all of our partners and speakers to attend in 2021." As soon as the new date has been decided, it will be announced via b.telligent's social media channels and the company’s newsletter.
