b.telligent continues to grow its consulting business in the DACH region: Markus Grob appointed consulting lead Switzerland

Munich, April 14, 2021 - b.telligent, the consultancy firm for data and analytics, continues to grow its consulting business in the DACH region. The recent arrival of Markus Grob has strengthened the company's efforts to accelerate its business expansion into Switzerland. An experienced manager with 20 years of practical experience in the design and development of analytics and data management solutions, Markus took up his role as b.telligent's consulting lead Switzerland on April 1.

"Our strategic objective is to become one of the leading service providers for data and analytics in Switzerland," says Klaus Blaschek, founder and CEO of b.telligent. The company is on track to further expand its strong market position in Switzerland and throughout the DACH region. "The team based at our Zurich office already supports many of Switzerland's leading companies, including telecommunications providers, banks and insurance companies," says Blaschek.

Despite the short time in his new role, Markus has already made his presence felt. A native of Switzerland with many years of experience in the fields of analytics strategy, process and organizational design, data science, business intelligence and customer intelligence, as well as in project management, he has already held many successful operational and strategic positions.

Grob: Enterprise-wide operationalization of data and analytics essential

Markus has already set himself the goal of consolidating and expanding b.telligent's consulting concept in Switzerland. "In my view, companies absolutely need to integrate the insights gained from analytics into their operational processes and to use these complex data-driven insights gainfully," says the new head of consulting Switzerland. One of his key responsibilities will be supporting the enterprise-wide operationalization of analytics and data management at every level – from management through to individual processes. "But first I would like to get to know the team at b.telligent and work alongside them to gain an overview of the strengths of their consulting work and technology know-how," says Markus. "I'm already impressed by the breadth of b.telligent's portfolio."

Prior to taking up his current role, Markus spent 15 years with the consulting firm Accenture. Between 2013 and 2017, he was head of business engineering and then head of business intelligence & analytics with the insurance company Helsana. Before joining b.telligent, he successfully built up the analytics business unit of ARGUS DATA INSIGHTS in his role as chief analytics officer.
