b.telligent Receives ‘berufundfamilie’ Certificate

Certificate clearly demonstrates the compatibility of consultancy and family in all stages of life

Munich, 22.10.2014: b.telligent has received the berufundfamilie certificate. This certificate is awarded to businesses which are already promoting the compatibility of career and family and will, in particular, continue to improve the latter in the future. The certificate is awarded for a period of three years. Annual reports document the sustainable implementation of the planned measures and are decisive for the ongoing certification.

The compatibility of career and family is firmly anchored within the corporate values of b.telligent. In this context, 'family' is defined as open and very individual form of living together. The existing benefits, such as part-time models and leave arrangements, are to be substantially expanded in the future - for example in order to enable an individual career management which also takes into account how the career goal and the family can be balanced. In addition, we are considering support for employees who need help at short notice, e.g. with child care.

"Our employees are our most important asset. Especially in the consultancy business, one travels a lot - a particular challenge for our consultants' families. Thus, it is very important to us to achieve a balance. This includes part-time models, a high level of flexibility and/or leave arrangements which we have developed," Sebastian Amtage, co-founder and managing director with b.telligent, explains. "In addition, our employees are offered an internal advanced training program, the b.telligent University, which they can also attend from home. The berufundfamilie certificate supports us in developing an even better family awareness and thus staying an attractive employer."

"b.telligent has made it its objective to optimally support the compatibility of career and family for our employees - both today and in the future. Exactly this future-oriented approach is the focus of the berufundfamilie certificate", says Mareike Schumacher, Head of Human Resources with b.telligent. "The participation of the employees was of particular importance to us from the beginning. Thus, we have actively involved them in the development of recommended actions. We have received many good ideas and impulses from them in workshops which we will implement now".
