b.telligent makes children's eyes shine at Christmas

Within the framework of the Munich gift-giving rain, b.telligent employees were able to fulfill the Christmas wishes of 48 children from the Allach day care center for children with special needs

Munich, December 20, 2019 - From pink alarm clocks and fire engines to soap bubble machines: This year, b.telligent employees fulfilled 48 wish lists of children between the ages of three and 14 in the "Münchner Geschenkeregen" campaign. Simone Schmuttermaier, social pedagogue and head of the primary and pre-school area of the Allach day care center for children with special needs, accepted the gifts together with two of her protégés. Thanks to the great willingness of the b.telligent team to donate, managing director Sebastian Amtage was able to hand over an additional cheque for 700 Euros.

2,412 children and teenagers from 40 social institutions in and around Munich can look forward to receiving gifts for Christmas thanks to the „Münchner Geschenkeregen“ campaign. The organizers Florian Wurzer and Maximilian Wagner bring organizations together with companies whose employees receive wish lists from socially disadvantaged children and fulfill their Christmas wishes. Almost 60 of these children attend the Heilpädagogische Tagesstätte in Allach

, a day nursery for children with special needs. Girls and boys have been receiving support there in the pre-school, primary school and youth sector since 1979. Because of difficult situations in their everyday lives they tend to have behavioral problems and developmental delays and find therapeutic help and support at Heilpädagogische Tagesstätte Allach.

“b.telligent helps!" campaign with great success

"The campaign met with great enthusiasm among our employees," says Klaus Blaschek, founder and managing director of b.telligent. Many of them not only donated, but also lovingly helped to wrap the gifts themselves. "I personally have a very special relationship with this campaign," explaines b.telligent founder and managing director Sebastian Amtage when handing over the gifts to social worker Simone Schmuttermaier. "During my community service I was very happy to work in a similar organisation and I am therefore very happy that we were able to get the project up and running together with all our employees". Simone Schmuttermaier, who received the gift donation together with 5-year-old Lui and 4-year-old Amir, was also very happy about the cooperation with b.telligent. "We are always happy to receive support and are sure that the children will be very happy with the gifts," said the head of the pre-school and primary school area. "We can also use the additional donation very well - whether for a trip with the children, for the purchase of diagnosis-specific games or for the renovation of our gym".
